Melanie Brown, a.k.a. Mel B, has squashed the rumors of an imminent break-up with film producer Stephen Belafonte, on her Twitter account. Now here’s another reason for her hubby of three years to make sure their marriage stays on track. The former Spice Girl knows how to work her curves.

“I like something that has a bit of a stretch so you can move in it and it’s comfortable and it fits your body,” she tells CGL.

Mel B. loves the designs of Denmark-based designer Charlotte Sparre. “Her silk scarves and dresses are beautiful,” Mel declares, pointing out the variety of ways Charlotte’s colorful silk scarves can be worn.

Mel’s has a personal mission to make Charlotte Sparre a household name in the U.S. “I’m trying to get her line over here,” she tells CGL exclusively.

Mel, we’re hope you’re successful, on both fronts.

MISS ASIA/USA: Beauty Queen Style Secrets!

(Follow us on TWITTER: CelebGoodLife!)

Newly crowned Miss Asia/USA Ariana Manibog Varela,19, shares her fave style tips that will help your teen daughters look great, whether they’ve got a crown or not!

Great Legs:: “I’ll deal with pain for a fabulous pair,” Ariana confesses to CGL. “For longer-looking legs I go for a nude or as close to flesh tone color shoe with no ankle strap. You shouldn’t have anything breaking at the ankle. I really like Christian Louboutin’s “Banana” shoe in Nude. it’s super high which adds great height, but they also have a good sized platform, which makes walking and standing for long periods of time a lot easier. Also try Guess by Marciano. I love their stuff and their shoes range between $90- $120 so they’re well-priced!”

Hot Hair: “I usually wear it down straight or in a playful pony tail. It’s nice, easy, simple, and playful,” Ariana declares. “To polish off my straight hair I always use Ojon Leave In Glossing Crème , and I’m good to go.”

The Perfect Day Face: “For every day I am a very natural girl. I always start with a fresh, clean and moisturized face. When I’m going to school or out with friends for lunch I put on a little bit of tinted moisturizer, like Smashbox tinted moisturizer, and dust a little bit of bronzer and blush on my cheeks. As for lip color during the day, I like to wear a peachy pink color gloss, like Smashbox’s O Gloss. I top it off with one or two coats of my favorite mascara, Hypnose by Lancome. To take my look from day to night, it’s a heavy smoky eye with a peachy cheek and a nude lip. I love NARS blush in Orgasm for cheeks and line my lips with MAC Subculture or Stripdown and with NARS Turkish Delight gloss. It gives the perfect nude/pink color. My make up icons are the Kardashian girls! I love them. Their style is sexy and classy, and I believe that’s the best way to be!”

HOT EMMY FASHION!

Sunday, August 29th, 2010

(Follow us on TWITTER: CelebGoodLife!)

The 62nd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards went down last night, and the stars truly did shine. CGL picks three of its fave outfits from the red carpet that deserved their own awards!

Glee’s Lea Michele left the plaid skirts and sweater sets at home to slip into a strapless navy blue Oscar de la Renta gown with a layered ruffle bottom. Nobody better even think about throwing a slushy on that.

Eddie Falco, who was shocked over her Best Actress, Comedy win for Nurse Jackie, shouldn’t be too surprised she’s on our best-dressed list. The star kept it simple and elegant in a one-shoulder draped gown in evening black, and added a streak of red on the bottom of her Christian Louboutin satin sandals.

Sofia Vergara, who stars on the Best Comedy of the year, Modern Family, shimmered like sunlight in a lemony Carolina Herrera dress adorned with sequins. Sofia joked that the design held everything in the right place. She’s planning to donate the gown to Clothes Off Our Back, a celebrity online charity that raises funds for children’s charities.

Tune in all day for CGL’s Emmy gifting suite and party coverage!

Getting the kids ready to go back to school? Be like Greg Grunberg and rack up the savings.

“We shop anywhere where Yowza is accepted. It’s a mobile coupon app I created for the iPhone, and it’s free,” he spills to CGL.

The “Heroes” alum came up with the idea while with his wife at Bed, Bath and Beyond. “You don’t go in there unless you have that coupon. We had it, but it was in the car door, and I was too lazy to go back to the car, literally,” he says.

“I said ‘Honey, this phone knows where I am, and I’ve got the power and the money – I’m the shopper – someone needs to create an app and bring the coupons to me.”

A year later, Yowza was born. Now accepted in more than 18,000 stores with over five million users, they handy dandy app will help Greg save money while stocking up on the number one item his three sons want most this school year.

“Backpacks, and nowadays it’s a fashionable thing,” Greg declares. “You need to have a logo on it. They’re into the X Games and football team logos.” A little savings definitely does come in handy for that!

No iPhone? No problem! Just visit Getyowza.com to download the program for the Blackberry, Android and Palm Pre. Happy shopping!

CGL ROUND-UP with EVA LA RUE: Her Spa Secret And How You Can Bring It Home!

(Follow us on TWITTER: CelebGoodLife!)

Between husbands, kids, in-laws, work and the million other things that busy moms have to do every day of their lives, CGL knows how important it is to relax.

We caught up with stars for their favorite ways and places to pamper themselves, and how you can add some at-home spa treats to your super busy schedule to recharge and reboot for tomorrow’s hectic agenda.

Eva La Rue. “My most decadent spa day is a two-hour massage, I love it,” the newlywed tells CGL. “It takes me a good hour to relax and I hate to wake up at that point. I never go to sleep during a massage, only during a facial, and it’s utterly embarrassing during because you snore and drool.” Her favorite spa? “The spa in New York City’s Pennisula Hotel,” she tells us, which uses ESPA products exclusively. For your own 2-hour getaway moment at home, try ESPA’s Body Smoothing Shower Gel and Essential Moisturizing Balm duo, and get a Traveller Invigorating Salt Scrub free with purchase.

Diana Maria Riva. The “17 Again” star loves the spa in the Langham Hotel in Pasadena, Calif. “I like their signature massage. Being a mother of two children and working out regularly, I need that firm, detoxifying kind of massage,” she tells CGL. If you’re in the Pasadena area, you can take advantage of the property’s summer special
to celebrate the 145th anniversary of Langham Hotels: a 60-minute Chuan Harmony Massage and afternoon tea in The Lobby Lounge for $186.50 Thursdays through Sundays. Or try a detoxifying soak in your own home with BATHerapy Bath Salts in Lavender.

CGL got a little spa love at the Oasis Day Spa in New York City — Scarlett Johanssen gets a rubdown here. We soothed away our own aching muscles (from standing on all those red carpets!) with a Lava Stone Massage, and let the hot oiled basalt stones ease away our stiff and sore joints. Get the kinks out yourself with the Conair Heated Stone Therapy System.

At the Television Critics Conference at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif., we spotted Martha Plimpton working one of the designer’s signature ribbon dresses.

“Cynthia and I are are good friends, and I have a lot of her pieces for the summer and fall in my closet,” Martha told us, which means the actress will be sporting fringe coats and puffer jackets with bold geographic prints once the cooler weather hits.

Cynthia’s making sure everyone looks good all year long with her new line of designer diapers for Pampers, sold at Target.

Because it’s never to early to start embracing your inner fashionista.
